My name is Fernando Fidalgo, I am an artist and I live in Perth, Western Australia. Though I was born in the portuguese historical town of Tomar, I came to Australia in 1989 and never left. This is my home and my country now,  despite the fact that I still have strong connections with my origins.

The main goal of this site is digital art which is one of my passions, but I am also interested in photography, painting, sculpture and art in general. 

The logo on top of this page represents the Australia Day Skyworks in the city of Perth,  which was once called the "City of Lights" by a passing astronaut 
(John Glenn). The digital artwork above also shows Perth as if this australian city was located in another galaxy. I call this kind of computer paintings, Out of Place Art.
