In these galleries you can find my latest collection of photos.

My background is painting with oil and acrylics. I started in Portugal, but when I came to Australia I enrolled at the Claremont School of Art and completed a Diploma of Arts.

Later, in 1995, I discovered the internet, and was soon fascinated by what I saw on the web and what I could do with graphic programs, plugins and filters. That's when my interest for digital art and photography began.

First I started with scanned images and later, when digital cameras arrived, I started taking photos by the hundreds and using some of them with graphic programs to either produce digital art or improve the photos.

Burns Beach

This is a beautiful place in the northern suburbs of Perth and its coastal environment is protected and preserved. The emphasis is really on the environment. Burns Beach is about 34 kilometres from the City of Perth and 7 kilometres from Joondalup.

   
Sculpture Park - Mundaring

Visit the Mundaring Community Sculpture Park. Appreciate a mix of nature which includes golden wattles, gums, and wildflowers while enjoying artistic masterpieces.This Park is located on the same site of what used to be the Mundaring Railway Station.
   
Ellenbrook
Perth - Western Australia

Ellenbrook is one of the most pleasant suburbs I know. At the centre of the town you can find a beautiful lake and very friendly parks. Ellenbrook is close to the Swan Valley which is is one of the premier wine growing regions of Western Australia with vineyards along the Swan River.

I have been travelling around in the surrounding areas of Perth, Western Australia, and decided to take photos inside a car. The driving has been done by my wife. Some of the areas include Parkerville, Midland, near Perth city, Kwinana highway, City Beach, near Rockingham in the south and Mundaring in the north, etc.

Mundaring Weir is a beautiful dam built in 1903 with idyllic scenery, picnic and barbecue areas, surrounded by walking trails with native plants and animals.

Lake Leschenaultia is a popular recreational area for family picnics, barbecues, bush walking, swimming, canoeing and cycling. You can also see wildflowers, native trees and animals.
   
Hillarys Boat Harbour

This is a great place for everybody. Here you can find a fantastic atmosphere, located in a beautiful marina with a sheltered swimming beach.
